Registration will be open from September 7th to September 27th at 11:59 PM EST, and late registration will be open until October 5th at 11:59 PM EST.

We also encourage you to complete your SAACURH affiliation before registration to pay the cheaper, affiliated institution price! SAACURH affiliation is open for the duration of our registration period.

NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship covers conference lodging, dining, and registration. With this scholarship, the SEC wants to provide a full conference experience with everlasting impact. However, selected students will need to arrange their travel. This application will close on September 27th at 5:00 pm EST/ 4:00 pm CST. Ronald McDonald House Wish List:

Here is a list of items that help run the Ronald McDonald House. Earn spirit points by bringing your items to check-in OR order your items on Amazon and send it straight to the Ronald McDonald House! If ordering on Amazon, make sure to send proof of purchase and shipment to sa_conf@nacurh.org.

Pop Tab Collection:

The tabs from your aluminum cans. Design a jar to keep in your office and set up at your events over the next two months! Post your jar and your delegation collecting pop tabs on your RHA/NRHH Instagram and tag @sa_regionalconf for spirit points!

What to expect at conference:

Proud Parent Fridge: An interactive board where delegates can write their accomplishments on!
Build-a-Bear with Care: OUR MAIN PHILANTHROPY! Customize t-shirts for our pre-stuffed (Louie the) lion plushies with a conference themed birth certificate. All plushies will be donated to pediatric patients at the UNC Children's Hospital!

EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS

SESSION TRACKS

To help you with categorizing your program, we have created "SPARK" for you all to start thinking about what maybe you want to share with other delegates.

Support: Creating a network that fosters student belonging. Strategies that create student networking, relationships, and belonging.
Partnership: How do we help student organizations provide education in residential spaces and bring peers together?
Amplify: Inspiring and elevating student leaders; What strategies do student leaders use to advocate for themselves and their organizations?
Recognize: How do we use recognition to motivate our communities, and what kind of impact do we want recognition to have on our communities?
Kindness: How do we build and sustain empathy within our residential communities? How do we pass those skills along?

If you are interested in presenting an Educational Session, please complete the proposal form to pitch your session. Each session must be around 45 minutes long. For the proposal, please limit your pitch to 200 words.

The proposal form will be open August 24th, at 8:00 AM EST and will close on September 28th at 11:59 PM EST. We will provide feedback to each proposal from September 29th to October 2nd.

CONFERENCE SPIRIT

BANNER AND ROLL CALL

Time to get creative! Institutions are encouraged to lean into our childhood nostalgia theme throughout these submissions.

Banner: Create a 1920x1080 pixel banner introducing your delegation to the whole region!
Roll Call: Create an up to 20-second video with your whole delegation to get excited about coming to UNC-Chapel Hill!

Submit your finished banner (formatted as pptx) and roll call video (as an MP4 file) at the same time to sa_conf@nacurh.org. Banners & Videos are due by October 26th, 11:59 PM EST. Please include your institution name in the subject line. (Ex: Florida State University - Banner & Roll Call)

THEME DAYS

Dress up for Regional Leadership Conference Spirit Week! Submit pictures of your spirit day outfits based upon these themes through Goosechase to claim spirit points!

Friday: School/Delegation Spirit! Wear your best gear to represent your university!
Saturday: Childhood! Dig out your favorite childhood-inspired outfits and show off your inner kid. Let’s all go back to the 2010s together!

FLAT RAMESES

Just like the Flat Stanley book series, you can decorate your own Flat Rameses to bring to the conference for spirit points (see below)! Download the template here! Take your institution’s Flat Rameses throughout your pre-conference journey and share through social media so we can see what your Flat Rameses is up to!

FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS

Delegations are encouraged to bring friendship bracelets to trade with other delegations! This is a great way to connect with other delegates, make new friends, and have fun keepsakes from the conference!

GOOSECHASE

Throughout the conference take the chance to explore all that UNC-Chapel Hill has to offer through a Goosechase around the University of North Carolina. There might even be a prize! More information to come closer to the conference!

During conference, share your friendship bracelets with other delegations, continue uploading any posts you have on social media and through the Goosechase, and make sure to tag @sa_regionalconf on IG through it all!
